    The Director, Technology Infrastructure & IT is responsible for providing technology leadership to the business and to the IT organization in the planning and strategy, architecture, deployment, management and operation of essential IT operations, including; network infrastructure, cloud computing, data center operations, disaster recovery, security, telecommunications, vendor management and help desk/end user support. The Director, Technology Infrastructure & IT is  also responsible for the coordination of all IT operations, with the primary goal of ensuring the availability, performance, scalability, and security of the internal corporate systems and our SaaS based external software offerings. This role will report directly to the CFO and work closely with the Development team to help position the organization with a competitive edge in offering current and up to date products and services to the our business users. The ideal candidate should bring experience working in a SaaS software environment and in introducing new technologies and change in a dynamic environment.


    • Manage and set priorities for the design, maintenance development and evaluation of all infrastructure systems and areas, including; network, data, hardware, services, security, etc.
    • Provide project management oversight and guidance to teams, whether project is internally staffed or managed via SOW or third party, and ensuring the projects are delivered to scope, timeline and budget. 
    • Conducts proper market analysis to develop long-range plans designed to maintain cost effectiveness and competitiveness of the company’s IT infrastructure.
    • Establish key performance indicators and service level agreements for continually improving the performance of IT operations.
    • Responsible for the creation and execution of roadmaps outlining the technology strategy and the investments in infrastructure that will enable the company’s strategic plans across all business areas.
    • Manages the development, design/architecture, installation, analysis, and on-going improvement of the information technology infrastructure.
    • Develop and maintain Technical Infrastructure plans and priorities, as required, that align with IT and business goals.
    • Ensure customer focus and satisfaction amongst the Infrastructure & operations and service center areas.  Acting as a customer advocate, frequently communicating with customers and managing customer expectations.
    • Manage Global IT Assets including software and hardware within Infrastructure & Operations areas.  This includes full lifecycle management of IT equipment.  Responsible for IT software true-up reporting processes to vendors.
    • Reviews financial soundness of area and makes recommendations to improve overall cost effectiveness of Infrastructure & IT across the organization.  Responsible for the planning and management of the budget.
    • Collaborates with business unit executives and other technology leaders to define infrastructure support initiatives and solutions for accurate and consistent service efficiency and effectiveness.
    • Oversight for effective management of data center operations including production planning, change controls, archiving, capacity planning, etc.
    • Effectively manages third party vendors/suppliers.  

    Position Requirements

    • Bachelors Degree in IT, Computer Science, Software Engineering or related field of study required
    • Masters Degree in IT/Software or equivalent experience
    • Minimum of ten (10) years experience leading IT functions including architecture, systems and database administration, and data center management
    • Demonstrated success in being a change agent, with a vision to transform internal systems and operations as needed to fully support our internal business users
    • Strong executive presence and leadership resulting in the ability to forge cross-functional partnerships and drive strong, organization results
    • Deep experience managing suppliers/vendors that provide IT products and services.
    • Strong financial acumen and proven experience managing a large P/L.
    • Knowledge of IT project management tools and methodologies, including project charters, resource planning, work breakdown structures, risk analysis, budgeting, etc.
    • Ability to plan and manage concurrent tasks, assignments, projects, and deadlines.
    • Ability to work independently and creatively, learn quickly, and solve complex problems in high-pressure situations.
    • Ability to communicate clearly and effectively in both verbal and written formats.
    • Strong organizational, administrative and documentation skills.
    • Demonstrated success managing a 24/7/365 large scale on-call operational environment.
    • Experience in Disaster Recovery desired
