  • Purpose

    Time2Track (a Liaison company) is a Private Equity-backed software company headquartered in Charleston, SC Our market-leading education software technology is aimed at enterprise educational institutions and students. Our products are SaaS-based.


    We are seeking sales reps who will respond to inbound leads and initiate outbound calls to target prospects identified as good candidates for Time2Track products. This is primarily an "inside" sales position, but may also include some travel for presentations at major accounts, attendance at trade shows, etc. The position will also be responsible for contacting existing customers to drive renewals as well as the sale of new subscription products. This individual will also serve as the primary point of contact for our prospects, and will always be available to answer questions from potential customers. The successful candidate will follow up on leads generated from a variety of sources as well as cold-calling target prospects of the company's products. This candidate will also be responsible for online product demonstrations, arranging site visits when required, and updating the CRM database with prospect information. This position requires excellent communication skills, both verbal and written. 2+ years of technology sales experience is required and experience in the educational technology or software industry is a plus. The company will provide product and market-segment specific sales training.




    • Technically strong with an understanding of computer software and the ability to quickly grasp new concepts
    • Exceptional people skills including the ability to convey complex concepts simply and efficiently
    • Comfortable with inbound/outbound phone selling
    • A Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience
    • 2+ years experience in sales, or experience in a technical role in computer software industry
    • Ability to understand and articulate value propositions
    • Ability to work on multiple tasks concurrently, set goals, prioritize and meet deadlines
    • Proficiency with standard corporate tools (email, Internet, voicemail, MS Office, etc.)
    • Discipline to enter/maintain lead data into a CRM system (SalesForce.com, etc)
    • Excellent written and verbal communication skills with an emphasis on relationship building


    Highly Desired

    • 3 years technical sales experience to enterprise-level software prospects
    • Familiarity with the higher education market as well as software or SaaS sales
    • A college degree in a field such as computer science or business administration



    Occasional travel possible to prospect companies, trade shows, etc.
